New to hunting last season but proved to be mannerly and full of scope. Finlay has learnt the ropes trail hunting with the Bedale last season and also attended the Zetland/ Belvoir joint meet showing he’s level headed and sensible whilst taking a 100+ person field all in his stride.

He is a very willing horse, and whilst green improved every time out turning into a very smart hunter that would suit a variety of riders. Level and balanced into a fence with good paces and is well schooled -however a career in the arena is not what he favours. Finlay had a full summer last year of cross country schooling, pleasure rides, flatwork and did our annual hunter trial back in October. He Autumn scent trained twice a week and trail hunted 1-2 times a week all season and is now ready to go on and be a top hunter for his next jockey.
Produced slowly by an amateur lady- ridden in the field but has whipped in and proved independent and brave. Brilliant with hounds. Leads and can be lead off out hacking, good in traffic. Travels in any vehicle. Great to load, clip, plait, shoe etc. Good conformation, clean limbs. A perfect gentleman to deal with on the ground and a really kind person in general. Only for sale as my horse of 10 years is coming back into work after a small injury so well overstocked. Fit & Ready to go!!!
