The time has come to find our lovely Dougie a new home. 17hh 7yo sports horse who we have owned from a 3yo.
He was backed at 4 however due to time constraints and other horses he’s only been in consistent work since June last year so is green for his age. He is a sensitive soul and has his quirks (can scoot/be sensitive to leg) but has a heart of gold. Needs a calm confident rider as he reads a lot from who is in the saddle.
Bred for the top of eventing (Dam is half sibling to 2x 5* horses) however he needs to see more of the world and have more time under saddle to reach his potential. Has XC schooled and popped over everything asked. Hacks out on the road brilliantly, great in traffic, has been to fun rides. Also hunted a few days this season proving mannerly, I have taken him out on my own, popped timber fences however will need schooling over hedges.
